In other words, if my smooth brain and I must choose whether to ride shotgun with Diesel’s Dom or Momoa’s Dante, I know whose car I’m getting in.
(Note: In the last movie, the Fast family went to outer space). But what’s abundantly clear about the Fast and Furious franchise is that you’re not supposed to think too critically about the entire enterprise. Is it potentially problematic that the villain of Fast X-which is a deeply and overtly Christian film-happens to exhibit some of the queer characteristics that some God-fearing folks believe lead to a life of eternal damnation? Probably. But it doesn’t explain why Dante is such a flamboyant, delightful buffoon. Of course, Fast X makes a cursory effort to humanize Dante with a sad backstory: He bounced around from juvie to prison to mental wards in the wake of his father’s death. Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Ground Ham, Shrimp, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Mozzarella & Tomato Sauce 34.25 Voodoo Delight. “I’m gonna go wash my hair,” he says, buttoning up a scene in which he’s just painted the toes of a corpse. It’s nearly impossible not to giggle at Momoa’s 6’5” frame as he channels Dante’s love of ballet and pirouettes into a car, even if he’s on his way to murder a child. He’s also far and away the best part of the film. Dante Reyes does countless unspeakable things, including, but not limited to, rolling an Indiana Jones boulder-sized bomb towards Vatican City in the hopes of exploding Dom and, I guess, the pope. No, he wants everyone who’s ever been associated with Dom to suffer catastrophically and terribly, including his entire Fast fam and his young son, Brian “Little B” Marcos ( Leo Abelo Perry). But Dante isn’t your run-of-the-mill villain targeting Vin Diesel’s protagonist, Dom. Fast X marks Momoa’s first Fast as Dante Reyes, the psychologically disturbed, sociopathic son of Hernán Reyes ( Joaquim de Almeida)-a powerful Brazilian drug lord taken out by the Fast family in Fast Five. Perhaps, I gravitated toward Momoa’s character because he’s also a relative newcomer to the franchise. Because, early on, I hitched my wagon to Jason Momoa’s dastardly villain, Dante Reyes-and, after that point, I enjoyed the ride. But ultimately, I found that it didn’t matter if I didn’t know what “The Agency” is, or what Brie Larson was doing in the movie. We choose to reduce impact on the environment by recycling and using earth friendly products. We offer organic and all natural fresh ingredients, including locally grown produce when available.

Watching Fast X-the 10th and penultimate film in the high-octane franchise, the eighth highest-grossing film series of all time-felt nearly identical to the experience I had all those years ago: completely outside the loop, not getting what all the fuss was about. We provide a healthy alternative to ‘fast food’ without sacrificing taste or convenience for people on the go.
Until recently, I had not seen a Fast and the Furious movie since some tech-savvy kid at my boarding school hacked the mainframe and illegally downloaded The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift for our viewing pleasure.
